Simple and satisfying vegan dish that’s also gluten-free and oil-free. Made with Greek yogurt, flour of choice, cream cheese, vegan cream cheese, or your favorite filling.

They’re baked in the air fryer until golden brown and crispy, and they go well with any kind of salad greens or vegetables. You can also use them as a sauce or dip for grilled meats, shrimp, fajitas, tacos, or lettuce wraps. They’re a great way to add some healthy fats and protein to your diet.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt (or plant-based yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup of flour of choice (I recommend whole wheat flour or oat flour for more fiber)
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese (or vegan cream cheese)
  • 1/4 cup of everything but the bagel seasoning (I recommend Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Seasoning1 for more flavor)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt and flour of choice.
  2. Add the cream cheese and everything but the bagel seasoning and stir until well combined.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 13-15 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Enjoy your air fryer bagel bites as is or with your favorite toppings.

Tips

  • You can use both the cilantro leaves and stems to make this dish. Cilantro stems are soft enough that they usually blend up easily.
  • If you have loads of thick long stems tear some of them away but you can save yourself that extra step if’d like.
  • You can also add some cumin powder or red chili flakes for some spice if you like.
