Easy and delicious, taco bar with organic chicken breasts.

This taco bar with Organic Chicken Breasts is inspired by the classic taco meat, but made with organic chicken breasts, chicken broth, and two tablespoons of minced organic garlic. You can cook the chicken on low for six hours in the oven or on the stovetop, so you can get back to work while the chicken is tender and juicy. Then you can shred it easily with a fork and serve it on tortillas or in individual bowls.

Here’s how to make it:

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or 400°F (200°F fan).
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat some oil and saute diced onion, stirring frequently, until softened, 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Stir in minced garlic cloves and cook for 30 to 60 seconds more.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high.
  • Add organic chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until no longer pink, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon as it browns.
  • Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and simmer for 6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks and season with salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, or any other spices you like.

You can also pre-play all of your cold fixings on individual bowls or on a fun little taco plate. Some of my favorite toppings are:

  • Organic cheddar cheese
  • Organic sour cream
  • Olives
  • Black beans
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Salsa
  • Corn

You can also roast some corn straight out of the bag and add your roasted sweet potatoes from the air fryer. That adds some crunch and sweetness to your taco bar.

Your taco bar is ready to serve!

You can enjoy it as it is or customize it according to your preferences. It’s a perfect way to feed a hungry crowd or have a cozy dinner at home.
