Kimchi Grilled Cheese on Sourdough

A must try, organic grilled cheese with gut-healthy fermented kimchi!

Cook Time:10 minutes
Total Time:15 minutes
Serves:1-2

Ingredients

  • 2 slices organic sourdough bread
  • 4-5 slices organic cheese (I use organic valley raw cheddar)
  • kimchi or sauerkraut enough to cover cheese
  • 1 tbs melted butter

Instructions

  1. Layer cheese on one side of sourdough
  2. Top with kimchi or sauerkraut
  3. Top with second piece of sourdough
  4. Coat both sides with melted butter
  5. Bake at 400 in air fryer for 10 minutes
  6. Turn over 1/2 way for 5 minutes on each side

Notes

Friends..this is an epic recipe and so easy. Be sure to use enough cheese to balance the thickness of your bread. If you don't prefer the spices in kimchi, sauerkraut tastes equally delicious.
