Roasted Rosemary Chickpeas and Cashews

Ingredients

  • 1 can organic chickpeas drained
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/3 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 Tbs rosemary olive oil
  • 1 Tbs dried rosemary
  • 1 Tbs maple syrup or agave
  • Sea salt and garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm up olive oil on low/medium
  2. Add onion, chickpeas, and cashews
  3. Add spices
  4. Sauté until they begin to brown(5-8 min)
  5. Add syrup, stir often until desired color and texture
