Honor your Body. Two tips for changing your relationship with your body

Your body is a temple

What is your relationship with your body?
I know for many people this question may activate difficult emotions.

With this in mind, I am sharing 2 ways to reconnect with your body in a positive frame of mind.

1- Reflect on one or two ways your body has shown up for you over the years. Maybe it’s demonstrated some incredible act of strength or talent, or perhaps recovered from a serious illness or injury. Maybe it’s something completely unique to you.

2- Look in the mirror and thank your body out loud for showing up for you in that way. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:19 that our body is a temple. A temple. How would we respond if we walked into a temple?

Remember our body is not our enemy. In fact, it has gone to battle for us more times than we can count. How can you honor your body today?
